10 MAINTENANCE 

The Streambox SBT3-9200 is designed to function for long 
periods of time in a controlled environment.   Some 
maintenance items should be checked regularly to prevent 
an interrupted service failure. 
       

10.1 Upgrading the Firmware 

The Streambox SBT3-9200 uses a solid state disk (SSD) to 
store its operating system  and Streambox software.   The 
firmware may be upgraded easily by swapping out the SSD 
with an updated version.   Additionally, if there is a problem 
with the firmware, the SSD can be easily swapped out with a 
backup. 

Replacing the SSD Firmware drive 

1.

 

Open the front panel and power down the unit. 

2.

 

Open the top SSD cover by pushing the silver button 
down and to the right. 

3.

 

Remove the SSD drive. 

4.

 

Replace the SSD drive with the replacement drive. 

5.

 

Secure the SSD cover by closing it until it clicks into 
place. 

6.

 

Power the unit on and verify functionality.
