7 SETTING HD OR SD MODE 

Each Streambox SBT3-9200 unit must be set to the proper 
mode in order to encode or decode SD or HD video.   For 
example, the unit will not function if it is receiving SD video 
and is set to HD mode. 

7.1 Encoder Front Panel Control (FPC) 

Use the arrow buttons on the front panel LCD to select the 
desired mode.

7.3 Encoder Graphical User Interface  

From the File menu select “Set as HD Encoder”, “Set as SD 
Encoder”, “Set as HD Decoder”, or “Set as SD Decoder” 

7.4 Set the Mode by Editing the Setting File 

The current mode of the unit is stored in a setting file 
located on the unit’s local firmware.   The file may be edited 
using the console or RDP interface to set the mode.
