Milling machine
Countries with 100-115 V mains voltage
The machine is preset for a mains voltage of
230 V. When the mains voltage at the set-up loca-
tion is 100-115 V:
▷
Pull out the fuse compartment ([9] in fig. 2 on
page 27) below the mains plug.
▷
Replace both T3.15 A fuses with the provided
T6.3 A fuses.
5.1.1
Set-up of the milling machine without
supply unit
_
The machine is intended exclusively for use
within dry, closed rooms.
_
A clearance of at least 200 mm is to be
observed sidewards, to the rear and upwards.
Minimum space requirements for the milling
machine (incl. connections):
▪
Width: 880 mm
▪
Depth: 680 mm
▪
Height: 735 mm
_
The empty weight of the machine is 50 kg. The
set-up surface must withstand an appropriate
load.
_
During operation, the room temperature must
be between 18
°C
and 30
°C
; avoid large varia-
tions in temperature.
▷
Set up the machine on a sturdy work table or
work bench (off the ground and clear of walls).
▷
Adjust the height of the machine by screwing
the feet in or out, ensuring that the machine is
positioned firmly on all four feet.
▷
Insert the extraction hose of the extraction sys-
tem being used to the extraction-hose connec-
tion ([10] in fig. 2 on page 27) on the rear side of
the milling machine.
▷
Connect the compressed-air hose on the rear
side of the milling machine.

Maintenance unit
The spindle is equipped with a sealing-air feature.
This sealing air prevents shavings/chips and dust
from entering the spindle. The service unit filters
possible contamination in the sealing air and thus
prevents costly machine damage.
