• Place the F-SW handpiece into the holder so that any air bubbles that form will be
immediately sucked up by the bubble trap. Note the handpiece positions specified
in C

• Activate the ‘Fill water circuit’ function.
• Connect the water bag to the water tube connector on the rear of the device (see
Fig. 6 - 1) when prompted to do so.
• To allow the water to flow out optimally, hold the water bag over the device.
• Confirm by pressing
OK

• Wait until the device is ready and you are prompted to remove the water bag.
• Push the lock on the tube connection and pull the tube out of the connection.
• Confirm by pressing
OK
.
There might be air bubbles in the system after the water has been changed.
The device needs about 15 minutes to remove these air bubbles. A progress display
indicating that the water circuit is venting is displayed at the bottom left of the
display.
• Wait for the message to disappear, then return to the main screen by pressing the
Return button.
• Check that there are no bubbles under the coupling diaphragm of the F-SW
handpiece. If bubbles are present, briefly hold the handpiece pointing downwards
in a vertical position. The bubbles will then be sucked out automatically.
