Water connection
Please check whether the water flow (litres per minute)
stated on page 51 (Technical Data) is available to the high
pressure cleaner.
Check: Allow the water feed hose to run into a bucket for
1 minute. The water flow must match the specification on
page 3 at a minimum!
A lack of water causes rapid wear on the seal
(not covered by warranty).
Motor protection switch
The motor is protected against overload by a motor protection switch. In event of overload, the motor protection switch
switches off the motor. If the motor keeps on switching off as a result of the motor protection switch, eliminate the
cause (see page 7/8).
Replacement and test work must only be carried out by qualified and authorised experts with the machine
disconnected from the electric network thus, with the mains plug pulled out.
Installation:
Site
The machine must not be run in rooms with a risk of fire or explosion, or positioned and operated in puddles.
Never operate the device in water.
WARNING:
Never draw in fluids containing solvents such as pain thinners, petrol, oil or similar fluids. Observer the
manufacturer's instructions on additives! The seals in the device are not solvent-resistant! The spray from
solvents is highly flammable, potentially explosive and toxic.
WARNING:
High temperatures occur in use with hot water at 60° C.
Do not touch the device without protective gloves.
Electric connection
The machine is supplied with a 5m connecting cable with mains plug. The plug must be be plugged into a
socket that has been installed according to regulations with a 30 mA FI residual current circuit-breaker. The
socket must be secured with a 16 A slow-blow fuse on the mains side.
When using an extension cable, this must be fitted with a circuit breaker that has been connected to the socket accor-
ding to regulations. The conductor of the extension cable must have a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm². The plug
connection must be splash-water protected version and must not left laying on a wet floor.
Electrical appliances
The device possesses a voltage range which can pose an electrical hazard to humans and animals. It should only be
unscrewed and / or disassembled by authorised personnel.
Similarly, maintenance and repairs must be performed by STORCH, or by a STORCH-authorised service centre. Use of
the appliance is upon your own responsibility and at your own risk.
