Electricity can be fatal! Avoid all contact with water or other liquids.
Tip
To reduce the possibility of the meat sticking hard to the grillplate we recommend, as with
all other non-stick coated grill plates or pans, that you fi rst fry a rasher of bacon or put a
small quantity of cooking oil on the grilplate. Avoid too much fat on the plate otherwise there
could be a risk of fat spitting out. The grilling of fruit is not recommended as it often has a
strong acid content which could crause it quickly to stick to the grillplate.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the plug from the socket. Allow the appliance to cool down. Never immerse the
appliance, cable and plug in water or other liquids. Clean the base with a moist cloth. The
Grillplate can be removed for cleaning. Do not use ag gres si ve, hard or ab ra si ve cleaning
agents or ob jects. If en cru sted, fi rst soak the pans in cold water. Do not wash the pans or
grillplate in the dishwasher. Discolored stainless steel surfaces can be polished with stain-
less steel cleaner.
Important: On the coated surfaces of the Grillplate and individual pans use only ac-
cessories (e.g. spatulas) of plastic or wood. Metal tools or those with sharp comers
should be avolded.
