Close the lid of the detergent dispenser compartment and press until you hear it
lock in place.
•
If your dishes are heavily soiled, and you are using a powder detergent, we
recommend you add a little extra amount of detergent in the prewash detergent
chamber (Fig. 14). In the Intensive program, this detergent will take effect during
the prewash phase, otherwise it will be dispensed during the main wash.
Adding detergent
The table on pages 14-15 lists the recommended amounts of detergent: generally
30g (or 15g for a Rapid wash). However, water hardness and soiling levels affect the
amount of detergent required.

Always follow the detergent manufacturer’s recommendations on dosage. The
detergent compartment has a 15g and 25g level marking for easy dosage (Fig. 12).
•
Before the start of each wash cycle fill an appropriate amount of detergent (or a
detergent tablet) into the detergent dispenser. If the lid is closed, press the latch
(Fig. 13) and the lid will spring open.
