Getting Started (Cont.)
Water connection
Connect the water supply hose to a threaded 3/4”
connector (Fig. 1). During use, the dishwasher will
heat up the water to the required temperature. Make
sure the hose is not kinked or squashed and
is fastened tightly in place. If the water pipes are
new or have not been used for an extended period
of time, let the water run to make sure it is clear and
free of impurities. This step is necessary to avoid
the risk of the water inlet being blocked and damaging the appliance.
Hot water connection
The water supply to the appliance can also be connected to the household hot water
supply a
s long as your supply does not exceed a temperature of 60ºC. Connecting
the appliance to the hot water supply will shorten the wash cycle time by about 15
minutes. Connect the appliance to the hot water supply the same way as described
above for cold water connection.
Drain hose connection
Connect the water drain hose to the drain pipe connector on the back of the
dishwasher. Then connect the other end of the drain hose to a drain pipe, fixing it with
a hose clip (not supplied). Make sure to avoid bending or crimping of the drain hose.
If you need a drain hose extension, make sure it is no longer than 4 metres, otherwise
the cleaning effect of the dishwasher could be reduced.
Follow the illustration below (Fig. 2) when installing the waste connection. It must be
at a height between 50cm (minimum) and 100cm (maximum). The water drain hose
should be fixed by a hose clip. (If you need to drain any excess water from hoses and
the sink is higher than 100cm from the floor, you will need to drain the excess water
into a bowl or container held underneath the pipe and lower than the sink.)
