Storage

Recommissioning after taking out of

service

If the truck has been out of service for over

six months, it must be inspected carefully be-

fore recommissioning. Similar to the accident

prevention check, the inspection should also

cover all points relating to truck safety.
– Thoroughly clean the truck.
– Check the condition and specific gravity of

the battery, charge the battery if necessary.

– Check the hydraulic oil for condensate and

renew the oil, if necessary.

– Perform the services as before initial oper-

ation.

– Take the truck into service.
– During commissioning check the following

points in particular:

• Drive, control, steering.
• Brake (service brake, parking brake).
• Lifting device.
