Maintenance every 500 hours

Change the pump motor and the steering

motor brushes

– Shut down the pallet truck, remove the bat-

tery connector. Remove the front bonnet.

To access the motor brushes:
– Remove the pump motor screws (6) and

take off the cap (5).

– Open the cover band (4) on the steering

motor.

– Lift the brush springs up and take out the

brushes.

The brushes (7) may only be worn down to a
• min. length of x = 11 mm (pump motor)
• min. length of x = 11 mm (steering motor)
– If the minimum brush length is reached on

one brush, renew all brushes as a set.

NOTE

Always replace brushes below the wear limit

in kits. Check the armature for pitting before

installing new brushes. New brushes must be

ground in. If refitting the existing brushes, do

not interchange or turn them. Please contact

your Service.
