Sand wheel pants to shape in preparation for paint or covering.

Harden the balsa “channel” that accepts the main gear wire. If you are running the optional thicker 3/32” gear
wire you will need to bore the gear leg provisions in the wheel pants out to fit this larger diameter wire. The
wheel pants slide over the gear legs retaining the wheels. You may find it helpful to use part WP6 to shim the
wheels within the pants – this is not required. The main gear wire nests into the “channel” and is retained by
part WP5A and the eight #0x3/16” screws (located in the small parts bag)
Tail Wheel
Use the full-size rolled plan sheet marked “FUSELAGE” as a reference for completing the tail wheel assembly.
1.
Using the plan sheet as a guide cut and bend 1/32” wire and aluminum bearing to shape/size.
2.
Using provided length of Kevlar thread lash the aluminum bearing to tail wheel assembly “A”.
