5.6 USING OUTDOORS
When using the lifting system outdoors you must be aware of the admissible wind speed.
The admissible wind speeds for different types of vehicle are shown in the table below.
The values in the table are average values and should only be used as a guide.
The admissible wind speed is dependent on the type as well as the weight of the vehicle.
When lifting large high-sided vehicles, the value for lighter vehicles must be used.
The operator must consider all factors when deciding if it is safe to use the lifting system
If any doubt exists, always use the lower wind speed.
