Explosion hazard:
A battery being charged could emit explosive gases. Avoid smoking, open sparks or
naked flames in the vicinity of the battery being charged.
Danger of explosion and fire:
While charging, explosive and flammable substances such as fuel or
solvents should not be kept in the vicinity of the charger or the battery. Do not cover the charger while
charging.
Danger of chemical burns:
Battery acid is highly corrosive. lf your skin or eyes come into contact with acid,
immediately rinse the effected part of the body with excessive water and seek medical advice.
Do not charge a frozen battery or non re-chargable batteries.
Do not charge a damaged battery.
Before charging, make sure the input is within rating level, otherwise charging performance may be seriously
effected.
While connecting the charger to the battery, maintain the correct polarity connection and avoid short
circuiting the battery cables.
Disconnect the battery from the charger when the charger is not connected to the a/c power supply. This will
reduce back drain current.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. only charge batteries for which the charger was designed
During charging, the battery must be placed in a ventilated area.
The supply cord cannot be replaced. lf the cord is damaged the charger should be scrapped.
When charging automotive batteries:
