Pump runs, compressor

Refrigerant is low. 

Check the refrigerant 
charge. 

 

 
Pressure switch contacts 
are open. 

Sight glass should be clear 
while compressor runs. 
Call for service if bubbling 
or foaming 

 

Refrigerant high pressure 
cutout switch contacts are 
open. 

Check for dirty condenser. 
Check for condenser air

Defective fan motor.

Compressor internal
