Audio Mode (If Equipped)

Audio mode allows you to control the built-in stereo from the topside control
panel. To access Audio mode, first press

to access the main menu and then

select the Audio mode with

. When in Audio mode, pressing

+/-

raises/lowers

the sound level. Four pages of menus control the operation of your audio system.

Page 1

controls the basic features and selects the source of operation. Press

to select a setting and

again to change it. Press

to move

forward/backward in that source.

Turns the entire audio system ON/OFF.

Note

: The Time is displayed when the system is OFF.

Selects the listening source (Tuner, CD, or Aux).

Plays or Pauses an CD (CD mode only).

Mutes/un-mutes the sound.

Page 2

adjusts the basic settings of the system. Press

to select a setting and

again to change it.

Band

Selects FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2, or Weather bands.

Tone

Adjusts the Bass, Treble, Balance, and Fader settings. The Bass and

Treble controls only work when the equalizer is OFF (see

below).

Note

: Your system uses the front channels only. Always keep this

setting to the Front (see

below).

Selects the Front, Rear, or ALL speakers. Your system uses the front
channels only. Always keep this set to the Front.

Equalizer selects a pre-programmed tonal balance for Jazz, Pop,
Classical, Rock, or Vocal emphasis. You can also turn OFF
equalization and use the Tone controls to manually set your unique
acoustic preference.
