Operator Manual

Operator Troubleshooting

4. Current 

Regulation 

Fault

Power supply needs adjusted. Contact STERIS 
Service.

5. LED Module does not turn on and LED Module Fail-

ure.

Lighthead PCB, LED module, or lighthead internal 
harness malfunction or power supply voltage is set 
too low. Contact STERIS Service.

6. LED Module does not turn on - Overcurrent Fault

Lighthead PCB, LED Module or lighthead internal 
harness failure or power supply voltage is set too 
high. Contact STERIS service. 

7. Low light output.

One  or  more  LED Modules fail to turn on, power 
supply is not calibrated or power supply is not 
optimally adjusted. Check control center Fault Log 
and report failure code to STERIS Service.

8. Poor light pattern.

1.

Dirt/debris inside of lighthead, refer problem to 
qualified STERIS or STERIS-trained service 
technician.

2.

LED mis-alignment on lighthead cover.

9. Light pattern will not change.

Refer problem to qualified STERIS or STERIS-trained 
service technician.

10. Monitor does not operate as expected.

1.

Make sure all connections are complete and 
secure. Make sure power is supplied to monitor

2.

Refer to user manual supplied with monitor.

11. Poor video image quality.

1.

Restore camera default settings by turning 
camera OFF and then back ON at the control 
center.

2.

Check connectors on the back of the monitors.

3.

Verify signal source is operating correctly. 

12. Control center screen contrast degraded.

Control Center exposed to excessive electrostatic 
discharge. Press and hold control center ON button 
for two or more seconds to reset contrast.
