MAINTENANCE
Note:
Due to the fine and precise tolerances of spindles and nuts, these must be carefully maintained. They must be kept
absolutely clean and should always be well lubricated (cp. lubrication instructions below). If these instructions are
ignored, there is a risk that the spindles will be damaged.
Due to the construction of the safety system they do not require maintenance, however, we recommend that the movable
parts on the top of the posts are greased once every 6 months.
Lubrication:
Lubricate the lift every 6 months as follows:

Chain Remove cover plate Lithium grease
Roller pipes/guides
Remove steel bands from front
edges of posts Lithium grease
Spindles/nuts Molybdenum grease (apply with
brush)
Top casing Remove top cover Lithium grease
Suspension for arms Lithium grease
Arm locks Lubricating oil
WARRANTY:
This lift is guaranteed for one year, covering faults due to manufacturing or material defects, provided that the enclosed
guarantee certificate, filled in and signed, is returned immediately upon installation of the lift and provided that the
installation, operation and maintenance instructions are observed.
IMPORTANT ! Product liability accepted only if solely original Stenhøj spare parts have been used.
TROUBLE SHOOTING CHART
SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
Lift will neither
rise nor lower Main nut broken The lifting carriage is supported solely by the
safety nut. Do not use the lift before the damage
has been repaired. Call authorized fitter.
Snapped safety wire Replace wire
Electricity cut Check fuses. Call authorized electrician
Overload Remove load
Chain too slack Tighten chain (adjust the post in the oblong
holes). Torque: 100 Nm (10 Kpm)
Defective limit switch Replace limit switch
Obstruction under arms or
carriages Raise carriage carefully e.g. by means of a jack
and remove obstruction
Fault in the electrical
system Call authorized electrician
Lift unusually
noisy Expansion bolts for base
frame loose Tighten expansion bolts
