Ergonomics for sit and stand desk
Sit position
1. Sit fully back into your chair and adjust your seat height so that your thighs
and feet are parallel to the ground.
2. Relax your shoulders and adjust the table height so that your elbows
and forearms can rest comfortably at 90 degree angle on the chair arm or
the worktop.
3. If you use a monitor arm, look straight ahead and adjust the top of the
monitor to your eye level, adjust the monitor so that it is one arm’s length
away from your body.
Stand position
1. Stand up straight with your feet parallel to the floor.
2. Relax your shoulders and adjust the table height so that your forearms can
rest comfortably at 90 degree angle on the worktop.
3. If you use a monitor arm, look straight ahead and adjust the top of the
monitor to your eye level, adjust the monitor so that it is one arm’s length
away from your body.
