RETURN SPRING

This  spring  is  used  to  return  the  boring  handle  to  its

original position.

If the spring becomes loose with use, you can adjust the

springs by adjusting the spring rod.

HOLD DOWN

Loosen cap screws adjusting hold down for fixing wood-

piece.

STOP ADJUSTMENT

Loosen lock handle rod to move the rod to desired position

then tighten or loosen stop knob (

) to move stop (

) to

desired position. The operator may adjust it according to

workpiece  width.  Maximum  distance  of  width  is  49”

(1250 mm). The knob rod and stop can be installled on

the  other side.

SETTING STOPS ON FENCE:

The flip stop can be positionned on the fence in position.

desired position.

SAFETY GUARD

The  safety  guard  prevents  the  operator’s  hands  from

touching the boring bits when changing workpiece. The

safety guard features automatic positioning.

To adjust the safety guard, loosen the two lock nuts.
