Software Configuration
Selecting 'Output' allows a user to change the i-Drive's output mode from
proportional to switched, or vice-versa. It also allows a user to adjust the output
speed.
The latest version of the i-Drive firmware allows for either proportional or switched
output, which improves functionality and compatibility with multiple wheelchair
electronics systems.
The output mode capabilities for each electronics system are as follows:

The i-Drive plugs into the 9-pin port on the power chair's control interface. The
location of the port depends on the manufacturer of the interface. In the next
sections, follow the instructions provided by your interface provider.
