SteelVine Manager Operation

To use the SteelVine Manager to configure the enclosure, the DIP
switches on the enclosure must be configured for GUI mode.

Install the SteelVine Manager from the included CD, or download the

latest version from the StarTech.com website (www.startech.com).
Launch the SteelVine Manager utility or click on the icon in the

system tray (Windows only).
The main window will show you current status of the disks in the

enclosure. Click on the “Configure” button to set the RAID mode.
You will be prompted to enter the password. The default is ‘admin’.

Under the Storage Policy section,

set the RAID mode you want, and
click the Apply button.
