Off-Hook Preference

Chapter 7 - Single Line Telephone Operation

Erasing Your Name

1. Dial [690] on the dial pad.

2. Briefly depress the hookswitch and release to complete the erasing process.

Off-Hook Preference

SLTs may have their station programmed to access a particular CO Line, such as a private line 
or a line from a Group of CO lines, upon going off-hook. This is useful in Centrex or PBX 
applications when station users have dedicated or individual lines. Outside line dial tone is 
received just by going off-hook, without dialing access codes.

When this operation is enabled, you may not have access to all features described in this 
document. However, consult your Centrex or PBX User’s Guide for additional features you 
may have.

An SLT user can automatically access one of several features when going off-hook. These 
features include:

CO Line

CO Line Group

Least Cost Routing

Direct Station Selection (DSS)

Hunt Group

UCD/ACD Group

Voice Mail Group

Paging

Internal/External Page

1. Lift handset or press the Speaker button.

2. Dial the paging code. (Wait for page warning tone.)

This feature eliminates intercom dial tone when going off-hook.

Administrative programming must be completed in both Flash 50/51, Page B, Button #10 and 
Button #11 for the Off-Hook Preference function to work.
