Ultrastar C handbook Issue 1, August 2015
Once an image has been captured, it will initially be in mono and will need to be converted to colour.
This is done by selecting ‘Colour’ from the top menu and then selecting ‘Synthesise colour’. The
default settings should work well. Various other image processing functions are available from the
menu bar and will be adequate for many general imaging purposes.
Many other imaging programs will recognise and work with the Ultrastar C. Maxim DL5 and 6 will
work, although the camera might appear as an ‘Unknown’ device in earlier versions of this software.
However, it will still work correctly.
