Disinfection

WARNING

 

Electric shock as a result of penetration of liquid.

›

 

Switch off the minicentrifuge and disconnect it from the power supply before starting to 
disinfect.

›

 

Do not allow any liquids to enter the inside of the housing.

›

 

Do not use spray disinfection.

›

 

Only reconnect the minicentrifuge to the power supply once it is completely dry.

Auxiliary equipment

›

 

Lint-free cloth.

›

 

Disinfectant.

Disinfecting the minicentrifuge

›

 

Switch off the minicentrifuge and disconnect it from the power  supply.

›

 

Disinfect the minicentrifuge.

›

 

Select a disinfection method which complies with the legal requirements and regulations 
applicable to your range of application.

›

 

Wipe the surfaces with the lint-free cloth and disinfectant.

5.3 

Decontamination before shipment

If you are shipping the minicentrifuge to the authorised Technical Service for repairs or to your 
local distributor for disposal, please note the following:

Risk to health from contaminated minicentrifuge.

›

 

Follow the instructions for the decontamination supplied by your local distributor.

›

 

Decontaminate all the parts you want to dispatch.

›

 

Enclose the fully-completed decontamination certificate for returned goods (incl. the serial 
number of the minicentrifuge) with the dispatch.
