Turning the brush device
Note! Only turn the brush device in horizontal position. Ensure that
the brush unit or its parts do not catch anything, for instance the base
machine’s tyres.
With factory settings, the brush device can be rotated 180 degrees
clockwise. The direction of the rotation depends on the Stark-fit adapter
mounting direction. If you want to change the direction of the brush
device rotation, turn the Stark-fit adapter 180 degrees. The brush device
will then turn anti-clockwise.
The turning speed can be adjusted, if necessary, by a flow control valve
(Figure 7). By rotating the valve clockwise, the rotational speed slows
down. By rotating the valve counter-clockwise, the rotational speed is
increased.
The turning device works with a 2-way cylinder. The direction of flow of
oil entering the cylinder is changed by means of hydraulics, when the
brush device is a longitudinal with the direction of driving.
Using the turning device:
1.Start turning the brush by means of machine hydraulics with the brush
device being transverse to the direction of transport (normal brushing
position)
2.You can stop the rotation at the desired angle
3.Change the direction of flow of oil by means of machine hydraulics
a
moment before
the brush device is longitudinal with the direction of
travel
4.You can stop the rotation at the desired angle
When rotating the turning device, pay attention that you do not stop the
turning device when the cylinder is at dead centre point, see Figures 5
and 6.
