The continually displayed CAL symbol refers to a previously made 
adjustment.

The instrument is permanently adjusted for watery solutions, 
but it can also be set for solutions with varying density, 
viscosity and temperature. The ErgoOne

®

 E -8/-12 can be 

adjusted in every mode, with the exception of the GEL mode.

When the ErgoOne

®

 E -8/-12 is adjusted, a volume offset is 

performed, which means that the volume is changed across 
the entire volume range of the pipette by the same amount. 
It is recommend that the adjustment be performed at 50% 
of the nominal volume.
