6.19.2 OPERATION
1. Hold down the [ LIGHT
(
STROBE
)] key for 1 second, to activate the emer-
gency S.O.S. Strobe. The TX/BUSY LED will be on continuously or will
flash the Morse Code S.O.S. message repeatedly.
2. The S.O.S. strobe function is interrupted when a signal is received or if the
squelch control is turned so audio is heard from the speaker.
3. To disable the S.O.S. strobe function, hold down the [ LIGHT
(
STROBE
)]
key for 1 second again.
