6.6 CHANGING THE GPS TIME

From the factory the

GX1200E

displays GPS satellite time or UTC time. A

time offset is needed to show the local time in your area.

1. Press and hold the

key until “

SETUP

” appears.

2. Select “

GENERAL SETUP

” with the

keys, then press the

soft key.

3. Select “

TIME OFFSET

” with the

keys, then press the

soft key.

4. Press the

keys to select time offset

from UTC. See illustration below to find your

offset time from UTC. If “

00:00

” is assigned,

the time is the same as UTC (Universal Time

Coordinated or GMT Greenwich Mean Time).

5. Press the

soft key to store the time

offset.

6. Press the

key or press the

soft

key twice to exit the menu and return to radio

operation mode.
