1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Caution!
If the device has been damaged during transport, do not connect it!
•
Caution!
Failure to follow these instructions may endanger life!
•
Improper handling and use may cause serious damage to the device or injury to persons.
•
The device may only be used for the purpose for which it was designed.
•
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper handling and use of the device.
•
During use, protect the device and the power cord plug from contact with water or other liquids. If the device is inadvertently
flooded with water, immediately pull the plug out of the power outlet and have the device checked by a specialist.
•
Never open the housing of the device yourself.
•
Do not insert any objects into the openings of the device housing.
•
If the device falls or is otherwise damaged, always have it inspected and possibly repaired by a specialist before continuing
to use it.
•
Never attempt to repair the unit yourself -
doing so may endanger your life.
•
It is forbidden for non-experts to make modifications or repairs.
•
Working surfaces become hot during use. Caution is recommended to avoid touching hot parts.
•
Do not allow minors, persons with physical or mental impairment or restricted mobility, or persons without sufficient expe-
rience and knowledge to operate the device properly. The above-mentioned persons may only operate the device under the
supervision of a person responsible for safety.
•
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use or is being cleaned.
•
Dishes used during operation should be inserted and removed from the hotplate using heat-resistant gloves.
•
Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may require additional ventilation, such as opening a window or more effective
ventilation, such as increasing the capacity of mechanical ventilation, if used.
•
Do not allow the heating plates to become dirty. Clean dirty ones immediately after cooling down.
•
Turn off the appliance before pulling the plug from the power outlet.
•
Turn off the power to the appliance at the control panel after operation.
•
Turn off the power to the unit at the control panel before cleaning, maintenance, and before pulling the plug from the power
outlet and/or disconnecting the unit from the main power supply.
•
Do not touch the power cord plug with wet hands.
•
Regularly check the condition of the plug and power cord. If you detect damage to the plug or power cord, have it repaired
at a specialized repair facility.
•
Keep the power cord away from sharp or hot objects and away from open flames.
•
Secure the power cord to prevent anyone from mistakenly pulling it out of the power outlet or tripping over it.
•
Never pull the unit by the power cord.
2. HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES
Caution! To prevent burns and electric shocks, observe the following safety precautions!

Before starting up the device for the first time and at regular intervals, instruct the operating personnel on how to operate the
device safely in accordance with the information in these operating instructions,
•
Train personnel on operating the device according to the information contained in these operating instructions,
•
train personnel in the basic principles of using electrical equipment, safety in the workplace and first aid in case of need,
Caution! Disconnect the unit from the power source before performing any maintenance work!
•
Do not switch on the unit if any heating element and/or control element is damaged,
•
Do not splash water on the unit, as this may damage the unit and cause a risk of electric shock,
•
make sure the unit is ready for operation before switching it on,
•
Make sure that the power cord does not touch hot surfaces,
•
Any repair of the unit must be carried out by qualified technical personnel only (technical service).
3. INTENDED USE
Functional shield with a shelf adapted for mounting on table tops.
It protects dishes placed in the elements of the line against pollution or loss of heat.
