4.1
Function
Application range
The illuminated pushbutton is certified for use in hazardous areas of Zones 1, 2, 21 and
22.
It is an explosion-protected electrical device.
It is suited for installation on enclosure walls, electrical device covers, panels or control
cabinets.
Mode of operation
The illuminated pushbutton Type 8018/3 commands modes in load, control and signals
circuits by lighting up or going out. It consists of a main assembly with 2 flameproof
encapsulated contacts, an indicator lamp unit equipped with an LED as its light source as
well as a front part for control.
The illuminated pushbutton for panel mounting Type 8018/3 is designed for D30
single hole installation as per EN 50007 and in combination with actuator attachment
Type 8602/2.
