Congratulations! You have just purchased KURT the
stainless steel water kettle. KURT will be a great joy to you,
boiling your water in short time.
This appliance is intended for household use and is not
suitable for commercial use. Use the appliance only for
heating water and not under any circumstances for soup
(leaves behind a taste of grease and can boil over), milk
(burns and boils over) and pre-prepared drinks such as tea
or coffee (stain the kettle).
Description of the appliance
Please turn to the first page of the operating instructions,
where the individual parts of the appliance are illustrated
and numbered.

Important safety instructions
• Please read the instructions for use carefully and keep
them in a safe place for future reference.
• Keep children away from the appliance.
• Connect and use the appliance only as specified on the
rating plate.
• Do not connect the appliance if either the mains cable or
the appliance itself appear damaged.
• Always unplug the appliance after use or in the event of
a fault.
• Do not:
- allow the mains cable to touch hot parts
- pull the cable across sharp edges
• If the mains cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by an authorised Service Department in order to avoid all
risk of injury.
• When the appliance has reached the end of its working
life, it should be clearly destroyed and disposed of
properly.
• The mains cable must not touch the kettle which
becomes hot during use.

Do not switch the appliance on when the kettle is
empty.
Stainless steel parts will become discoloured and
