Automatic recording

The system must also include
a ‘Stop Log’ command. This
is because recording MUST be
stopped before power is
removed.
! Without this, the last part of the video that was recording will
be lost when the power is removed.
Manual recording control
Additionally, recording can be initiated using the Pro DVR
Record Switch.
The VS/VSR module’s recorder control output is wired in
parallel with the Pro DVR Record Switch such that either the
VS/VSR output or the Pro DVR Record Switch can cause the
Pro DVR to start recording.
To stop the Pro DVR recording both the VS/VSR output and
the Pro DVR Record Switch must be off to stop recording.
Recording Lamp
The Pro DVR Recording Lamp output is directly connected
to both the Pro DVR Recording Lamp and the VS/VSR
Video Status Lamp. When the Pro DVR is recording, both
lamps will be illuminated.
! It is not necessary to connect the Recording Lamp when
using the Video Controller.
Recommended Vehicle System Power
