18 Stack Pro DVR Users Guide
The DVR Configuration Utility will now recognise the Pro
DVR and show that it has established a connection.
Once connected the Pro DVR Status Lamp will flash 50:50
red / green to indicate that it is under control of the DVR
Configuration Utility.
! The DVR Configuration Utility is only able to establish
connection with the Pro DVR when it is powered-up.
Read Config
Clicking this button causes the current configuration to be
uploaded from the Pro DVR to the PC.
Write Config
Clicking this button causes the new configuration to be
transferred from the PC to the Pro DVR. Once the transfer is
complete, the following dialog box will be displayed.
The USB cable MUST be disconnected from your PC for the
new configuration to be accepted by the Pro DVR. After a
few seconds you may reinsert the USB plug.

The time and date are updated when the USB cable is
disconnected. For this purpose the utility assumes a one
second delay between pressing the “Write Config” button
and the USB being disconnected.
Factory Reset
Clicking this button causes the Pro DVR to reset back to its
manufacturing default settings. It should only be necessary
to do this in the unlikely event that the Pro DVR’s internal
set-up has become corrupted.
