TX Power Hi(High)/Lo(Low) feature
This feature permits the selection of the transmitting power level to
high or low.
In normal mode, press the / button 2 times, the
HI/LO
icon will
display and start blinking on the LCD screen.
Press the
CH
s
or
t
button to select your preferred mode.
Press the button, you will hear 2 beeps and return to standby mode.
Setting the VOX (Voice Activated) Mode
In VOX mode, the PMR will transmit a signal only when it is activated
by your voice or other sounds around you. The unit will transmit for a
further for 1 second even if you stop talking.
The VOX function is reliably activated up to a distance of approx. 30
cm, but not in case of greater distances. For this reason, an external
supplementary microphone should be installed by all means when
using the radio set as baby phone.
Press the / button 3 times, the
(VOX) icon will start blinking
on the LCD Screen.
Press the
CH

or
t
button to select to ON or OFF mode.
Press the (Enter) button to confirm your selection and return to the
normal mode.
Note:
VOX operation is not recommended if the PMR will be used in
a noisy or windy environment.
Setting the VOX (Voice Activated) Sensitivity
To set the VOX sensitivity level;
Press the / button 4 times,
LE
will be displayed on LCD Screen
and the
(VOX) icon will start blinking.
Press the
CH
s
or
t
button to select the VOX (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5) sensitivity.
Press the to confirm your selection and return to the normal mode.
