Switching the transmitting power (high/low)
If the distance and constructional conditions permit, the energy con-
sumption of the devices can be reduced by decreasing the transmitting
power.
Push the menu key twice,

Select the requested transmitting power by means of the channel

VOX function
(phonetic transmission)
This function permits to send without activating the PTT key:
Voices/noises that hit the microphone thus switch on the transmitter
of the radio set. Adjust the sensitivity according to the environmental
noises, so that the set switches from reception to transmission if your
voice volume is appropriate. You can select between 5 sensitivity levels
(step 5 = highest sensitivity).
Activate VOX
Push the menu key three times,
