System utilisation
Each connection is always estab
-
lished centrally via the base station,
even when Scope repeaters are
used.
If several Scope handsets are used,
various actions can be carried out
simultaneously in the entire system.
The earliest that maximum system
utilisation can be reached is when 4
Scope handsets are operated simul-
taneously.

In the average reception range,
the video transmission is at the limit
and the first signs of interference
through to interruption of the video
transmission may occur.

A maximum of two actions can be
carried out simultaneously via one
Scope repeater.
In order to always provide the best
quality for the communication con
-
nection, a video connection is only
possible when the reception quality
is sufficient.
When there is sufficient
reception, smooth video frame
transmission is achieved through the
continuous transfer of frames.
If frames are not correctly transferred
due to loss of reception or interfer-
ence, then these are not shown.
In the event of significant loss of
reception, this can make the video
stream noticeably jerky.
However it
is always ensured that the content
of the frames shown is always fully
visible.
If the reception quality falls
to a level where video transmission
is no longer possible, then the last
correctly transmitted frame is shown
on the handset display.
Ongoing communication is then
continued simply as audio transmis
-
sion.
The audio connection can be
maintained even when reception is
poor. If there is no reception, then
the audio connection is also termi-
nated.
