10. Spare Parts – Identification and Ordering
10.1 Identification of spare parts
Each spare part of the APV heat exchanger
is allocated a unique Item Number.
For gaskets and heat exchanger plates see
Item Numbers on PHE Plate arrangement
drawing.
On some heat exchanger plates, the last four
digits of the item number are also stamped
near one end of the plate. On some gaskets,
the part number may be moulded on the
gasket. Plate punch code and plate inversion
– left and right are shown in the picture here.
Plate handing is checked by
which lower port will allow flow
into the channel. For the right
hand plate, the right hand lower
port allows flow to enter or leave
the channel. Etc.
