Switch the appliance off by pressing and holding the
on/oFF
button. During cooking function (only on models
58 9840 25 31, 58 9841 25 31) or warming function the appliance will be switched off automatically after 60 minutes
if no operation is done. During timer function this automatically switch off function is deactivated.

safety features
automatic power cut-off/switch-off
If the induction cooktop cannot detect any suitable cookware within 60 seconds, it switches off automatically.
pan overheating protection
If the cookware overheats, e.g. when it is heated while empty, the induction cooktop switches off automatically.
electronic overheating protection
The electronics in the interior of the induction cooktop are monitored constantly. If the temperature in the interior
rises too high due to insufficient air circulation or other reasons, the appliance switches off automatically to prevent
damage. After cooling down and eliminating the error, it can be switched on again.
electronic switch-off in case of error
The microprocessor is equipped with an error monitoring function (watchdog). If a software error occurs, it switches
off automatically and reloads the data. This ensures error-free operation.
