warming function:
Press the
MoDe
button once to switch on the warming function. The
BuFFet
lamp lights up. The display shows
the default temperature setting, in this case 80.
You can now set the desired temperature for keeping food warm using the + or – buttons. On the wireless remote
control press the button POWER+ or POWER- to select the temperature. The temperature can be selected in 5°C
increments between 60°C and 95°C.
cooking function (models 58 9840 25 31, 58 9841 25 31):
Press the MoDe button again to select the cooking function. The cooK lamp lights up. The display shows the
default temperature setting, in this case 120.
You can now set the desired temperature for cooking food using the + or – buttons. On the wireless remote control
press the button POWER+ or POWER- to select the temperature. The temperature can be selected in 20°C
increments between 60°C and 240°C.
warming function with timer:
Press the MoDe button once to switch on the warming with timer function. The BuFFet and tIMer lamps light
up. The display alternates between the default temperature, in this case 80, and the remaining time, in this case
30 minutes.
While the temperature is displayed, you can adjust it using the + or – buttons. On the wireless remote control press
the button POWER+ or POWER- to select the temperature. To set the time, wait until the time is displayed. Now
you can set the desired time using the
+
or
–
buttons. On the wireless remote control press the button TIMER+ or
TIMER- to select the time.
cooking function (models 58 9840 25 31, 58 9841 25 31) with timer:
Press the MoDe button again to switch on the cooking with timer function The cooK and tIMer lamps light up.
The display alternates between the default temperature, in this case 120°C, and the remaining time, in this case
30 minutes.
While the temperature is displayed, you can adjust it using the + or – buttons. On the wireless remote control press
the button POWER+ or POWER- to select the temperature. To set the time, wait until the time is displayed. Now
you can set the desired time using the
+ or – buttons. On the wireless remote control press the button TIMER+ or
TIMER- to select the time.
Switch the appliance off by pressing and holding the on/oFF button. During cooking function (only on models
58 9840 25 31, 58 9841 25 31) or warming function the appliance will be switched off automatically after 60 minutes
if no operation is done. During timer function this automatically switch off function is deactivated.
6.3 safety features
automatic power cut-off/switch-off
If the induction cooktop cannot detect any suitable cookware within 60 seconds, it switches off automatically.
pan overheating protection
If the cookware overheats, e.g. when it is heated while empty, the induction cooktop switches off automatically.
electronic overheating protection
The electronics in the interior of the induction cooktop are monitored constantly. If the temperature in the interior
rises too high due to insufficient air circulation or other reasons, the appliance switches off automatically to prevent
damage. After cooling down and eliminating the error, it can be switched on again.
electronic switch-off in case of error
The microprocessor is equipped with an error monitoring function (watchdog). If a software error occurs, it switches
off automatically and reloads the data. This ensures error-free operation.
