1. Plug the power cord of the induction cooktop into a suitable socket according to Chapter 14

2. Switching on the appliance requires 2 steps: 1. Press the
ON/OFF
button (1). 2. Press the
+
button (9) or turn
the power control knob (2) within 5 seconds. The display (3) lights up when the appliance is switched on.
3. Use the power control knob (2) to select the desired power setting. The selected power is indicated on the display
(3) by the numbers 1 to 19. The higher the number, the higher the power. The
COOK
lamp (5) lights up, indicating
that the appliance is in cooking mode.
4. Place suitable cookware centred on the glass ceramic cooking surface, as described in Chapter 5. The
HEATING
lamp (4) lights up when suitable cookware is detected and is being heated. The desired power setting can be
adjusted with the power control knob (2) during cooking.
5. To keep food warm, switch to warming mode by pressing the
COOK/HOLD
button (7+8). The
HOLD
lamp (6)
lights up, indicating that the appliance is in warming mode.
6. The display (3) shows you the temperature at which the food is kept warm. Press the
+
button (9) to increase the
warming temperature gradually or press the
–
button (9) to decrease the temperature gradually.
7. To return to cooking mode, press the
COOK/HOLD
button (7+8).
8. After use, switch off the appliance by pressing the
ON/OFF
button (1).

button (1) for about 2 seconds.
2. Within 10 seconds, press the
HEAT
(12) or
TEMP
button (14), to select the desired power or temperature.
Otherwise, the appliance will automatically switch off, as a safety function.
3. To select the power, press the
HEAT
button (12). Select the power level by pressing the
+
or
–
button (9) from
1 to 12. The display (3) indicates the selected power and a pot symbol.
4. Place suitable cookware centred on the glass ceramic cooking surface, as described in Chapter 5.
5. To select the temperature, press the
TEMP
button (14) and the
+
or
–
button (9). You can set the temperature
between 40°C and 220°C. The display (3) indicates the current and the desired temperature. As soon as the
desired temperature is reached, the arrows on the display (3) light up.
Tip:
For warming, select a lower temperature.
6. As long as the appliance is heating, the pot symbol flashes.
7. After use, switch off the appliance by pressing the
ON/OFF
button (1).
