Troubleshooting
Pump Won’t Pressurize Tank
1. Make sure fill cap is tight
2. If the pump’s “O” ring is damaged or expired, replace it.
3. Check for leaks in all hoses.
4. Check that all hose connections are tight.
Flow Control Leaks
1. Check that the extension’s “O” ring is not prevented from sealing by dirt
or damage.
2. Check that the screw cap is screwed in all the way on flow control.
3. Release pressure by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank, clean and
examine “O” ring. Replace if damaged.
Nozzle Leaks When Flow Control is Closed
1. Release pressure
by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank
.
2. Clean and examine nozzle control or replace nozzle control.
Nozzle Becomes Clogged
1. Release pressure
by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank
.
2. Unscrew nozzle and clean nozzle parts at each end of wand.
Hose Leaks at Tank, Pump, or Wand Connection
1. Release pressure
by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank
.
2. Check that the hose/screw connector is not loose and is free from
damage.
3. Tighten hose connector by hand or cut off damaged section of hose.
Reinsert hose and tighten screw cap by hand.
Bad Spray Pattern or Low Spray Volume
1. Release pressure
by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank
.
2. Remove nozzle and clean.
3. Remove flow control and clean.
4. If flow control cannot be unclogged, replace it.
Fluid Getting Inside of Pump
1. Release pressure
by slowly unscrewing fill cap on tank.
2. Replace duck bill.
