Set-up guide
These are the steps to getting Car Thing set up in your car
and ready to play:
1.
Mount in the car. Use one of the three mounts
included in the box (CD mount, vent mount, or dash
mount) to secure the device to your dashboard. Which
one you use is up to you.
2.
Connect to power. Set up Car Thing on the dock and
connect the dock to a power source in the car with the
provided power adapter.
3.
Start the device . Start the device for the first time.
4. Connect to the car’s media system . You can do this
with either Bluetooth or the aux cable.
5.
Link account. Link your Spotify account to the device.
6.
Organize the cables . Use the cable organizers to
make the cables look neat and tidy.
Important! Don’t set up Car Thing while driving. Distracted
driving can result in serious injury, death, and property
damage. Always operate your vehicle and Car Thing safely
and legally.
