Problem

Solution

The pulse rate values are skipping/ are

displayed irregularly.

•

Measuring the pulse rate using hand

pulse sensors is naturally not as

precise as measuring using a chest

strap. It depends on the skin structure

(thickness), sweat, etc. The hand

pulse sensors (or the device) can

become statically charged during

workout due to friction, disrupting the

heart rate measurement as a result.

TIP:

Placing a special anti-static mat

underneath can help prevent static

charge.

•

Furthermore, the following factors can

affect the pulse rate measurement

(both via hand pulse sensors or chest

strap): Mobile phones, TVs, radios,

power lines, transmission towers,

electrified railway lines, etc. Make

sure the surrounding of the device is

free from such interfering sources.

Remove the pedal crank and side covers

to perform repairs inside the device.

•

Unscrew the nut (54) that secures

the crank against the axis. Then

screw the puller (not included) into

the thread of the pedal crank, fix the

pin to the pedal axis, and then pull off

the crank by screwing the pin further

in. To remove the side covers, loosen

the Phillips screws located in the

recesses.
