4.22 Valve

Your 3-point hitch log splitter has been supplied with a prince log

splitter valve. These valves have been setup for open center

operation. Tractors are designed for either open center or closed

center operation. If your tractor is a closed center system, your valve

needs to be modified for this system. A simple 3/8” NPT plug,

(shipped with every machine) must be inserted in the outlet port of

the valve. See image for more details. For any questions, call your

local dealer or Split-fire.
