IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
When using the electrical appliance, you must observe all
the following instructions: Read all instructions carefully regarding
installation, use and maintenance before you start using it.
- Retain this instruction manual for future reference.
- Any other use not specified in this instruction manual is considered
improper and dangerous. Spice Electronics cannot not held responsible in
case there is damage to property or persons resulting from incorrect or
irresponsible use.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible if an incorrect installation
causes damage to property or persons.
- Never leave the appliance plugged in when not in use.
- Make sure the values shown on the unit plate correspond to those of the
electrical network.
- The installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's
instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance indicated on
the plate. If necessary, only use adapters or extension leads complying with
the current security regulations. Never exceed the consumption limits
indicated on adaptors and/or extension cables, and adaptor of maximum
multi-fold power. In case of damage to the power cable, plug or other parts,
do not use the product. Do not place the power cord near any sharp objects
or on hot surfaces or pull it to remove the plug.
- It is recommended to render the appliance unusable by cutting off the
power cable, if it is not working properly and you decide not to
repair it.
- In case of malfunction, never try to repair the product yourself. For repairs,
contact the authorised service centres. In case of failure and/or malfunction,
do not tamper with the appliance. For any repairs, contact only a Spice
electronics service centre. Use only original spare parts. The Failure to
observe this instruction manual may invalidate the warranty and
compromise the safety of the appliance.
- Do not expose the product to rain, moisture, frost, etc. Store it in dry place.
- Never handle or touch the unit with wet hands or bare feet.
- Before each use, check the integrity of the appliance, in the case of
doubt, please contact the authorised service personnel.
- Never leave the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails,
staples, etc.) within reach of children as they may be dangerous.
All packaging materials must be collected separately.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- The use of the appliance by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge can be
executed only if it adequate supervision is guaranteed or if the instructions

given regarding the use of the appliance guarantee complete safety of the
user.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The appliance should be cleaned only after you have pulled
the plug. Wash the body of the appliance only with a slightly damp cloth or
sponge with detergent and dry it immediately. Do not use steel wool or
abrasive products used for very aggressive cleaning. Do not immerse the
body in water. The cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by
children. Wash the steel tray by hand with a sponge and a mild
detergent. The container, lid and accessories cannot be washed in
dishwasher; wash them by hand. Dry them completely before you reattach
them to the body.
OPERATING INFORMATION
The product is designed exclusively for domestic use or similar applications:
kitchens for personnel in shops, offices or other workplaces, for clients in
hotels, motels, bed & breakfast or residences.
- The device should not be operated by external remote controls or timers.
- This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children.
- Carefully wash the parts that will be in contact with food before first
use: Stainless Steel tray, Cutlery, plastic cover and accessories.
- Place the appliance on a flat, stable and non-slippery surface.
- Always check that all the parts have been fitted accurately before
operating the appliance.
- Always unplug from the electrical outlet before using and/or mounting or
removing any accessory.
- Always clean the stainless steel tray, the cutlery and body after each
use to prevent formation of unpleasant odours.
- The use of non-original accessories can damage the product and invalidate
the warranty terms. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
- After use, keep the product out of the reach of children.
- Do not subject the product to shocks that could damage the components.
- Never leave the product unattended while it is in operation.
- Do not use the product near flammable objects.
- Do not insert or remove the plug from power socket with wet hands.
- Do not place the product on an unstable or wet surface.
- If you are not going to use the food warmer for a long time, thoroughly clean
it and put it back in its box, and then store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
