SPI-DRY Critical Point Dryer 

 

(s) 

Once there is no pressure in the chamber, remove the rear door and remove the liquid transfer 
boat with the now dried samples. 

(t) 

Mount the samples on the desired mount, and prepare them for examination in the SEM (or other 
instrument). 

 

NOTE: If the system is to be used again right away, the chamber must first be cooled to 20 
C or below before another run is started.
