1. Turn OFF the power at the
circuit breaker and confirm
with the voltage tester at the
switch before proceeding.
Place voltage tester against the
existing switch checking the
wall plate, screws and switch
at various points to determine
that there is no power present.

2. Remove the wall plate and pull
out the existing light switch
so that all wires are exposed
outside of the electrical box (do
not disconnect wires).

3. Label the live wire with a piece
of electrical tape.
4. Disconnect and remove the existing switch.
5. Connect the Smart Switch as per the below wiring diagram. The ground wires must be
connected to the electrical box.
6. Mount the Smart Switch in the existing electrical box with the
provided screws and attach the wall plate (press fit).
