3.5 ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
4.2 PREPARATION
On receipt of the product:

emove packaging and display all the parts

n removing the I.V. holder from the packaging, check that the blocking device functions correctly

heck that all screws and rivets are tightly fastened
.

heck that the height adjustment functions correctly
.
•
C
heck that the fixing strap for the I.V. bags is present.
4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Before transporting the appliance, make sure that it is correctly packaged ensuring also that there are no risks of bumping or falls during the
transport itself.
Keep the original packaging for any eventual further transport. Damage to the appliance caused during transport and handling is not covered by
the guarantee. Repairs or replacement of the damaged parts are the responsibility of the
c
lient. The appliance must be stored in a dry place
free from humidity.

4.3 FUNCTIONING
Each time the device is put into use, a complete check must be made in order to detect any possibile damage occurred during transport and/or storage.
4.3.1 ASSEMBLY
1. Check the diameter of the tube of the frame of the stretcher onto which the I.V. holder is to be assembled. If it is Ø 30 mm Cross/ Carrera
/Enduro/Alto) assemble parts 8 and 9 on the body of the I.V holder and then match the tube. If the stretcher frame has a Ø 40 mm tube, do not
use parts 8 and 9.
2. Using a size 4 hex key, tighten up the 4 screws n°
10 taking great care that the part n°
7 fits perfectly with the I.V. body. Do not over tighten the
screws so as to avoid bending the plastic.
3. Position the I.V. hole as indicated in fig. 3, tighten the screws n°
11 (fig. 4) using a size 2.5 hex key until the I.V. pole is firmly attached to the frame
of the stretcher.
4.3.2 OPENING OF THE DEVICE
1. Grasp profile n°

3. Loosen up the ring nuts n°
4 just enough to permit the sliding of the tube

4. Position at the desired height and tighten up to block

4.3.3 DRIP FIXTURE
1. Grasp the support clips n°

2. Remove from their resting position

3. Turn them 90 °, first to one side and then to the other
.
4. Position as indicated in fig. 6

5. Un roll the strap n°
6, wrap around the bag or bottle and fix it closed using the Velcro®
.
4.3.4 BASKET ASSEMBLY
1. Using a size 4 hex key, screw in the 4 screws (n°
10) taking great care
that the part n° 7 is perfectly fitted to the body of the IV holder. Do not
over tightened the screws as it could damage the plastic.
2 After positioning the IV holder as indicated in fig. 7 tighten the screws
(n°
11 in fig. 4) using a 2.5 hex key until the IV holder remains tightly
fixed (will not twist) to the frame of the basket stretcher.
