4. Set up a device
To use an ombra BST in your project, first install the e.control plug-in setup
from the CD or from the internet. The setup includes the application files, LNS
plug-ins and configuration software as well as the manual. More detailed
information on the installation and use of the plug-ins can be found in the
chapter "The spega e.control Plug-ins".
First you must create a device template in your LNS project. The spega
e.control device template manager is available for this purpose, which you
can start as a plug-in on your project. You will find the device in the listed
categories:

All available device templates for each of the devices are offered for selection
here. Select the desired template and apply it to your project. Now you can
create the device as usual using the corresponding device template.
Activation of the software
Please note that the software must be activated once using a request key. To
do so, open the device plug-in (calibrate) and send the request key by email to
[email protected]. You will then receive an activation code. Afterwards you can
use ombra BST to its full extent.
