Operating and Maintenance Manual
•
Be careful with hoses against sharp edges. Sharp edges can scrape, slice and
generally damage the hoses quickly.
•
Keep machine clean and dry to maximize performance and longevity.
•
Protect unit from freezing temperatures. Do not store unit outdoors.
•
To protect the unit from damage, the plumbing, pumps and hoses should be drained
before the unit is placed in long term storage.
•
If the unit is to be stored for an extended period of time in an unheated location pour
1 gallon of RV antifreeze into the five gallon bucket, then turn unit on until antifreeze
exits through the return hose.
• IMPORTANT: Use only RV antifreeze (propylene glycol-based). Automotive antifreeze
(ethylene glycol-based) may turn corrosive and damage the unit.
•
When using the unit after long term storage, flush with clean water before use. You
can recover the antifreeze in the unit and reuse.

rinse the heat exchanger with clean water.
11. Reconnect power and water pressure to the heat exchanger and restart unit in
accordance with its instructions.
Please observe these precautions:
1. The temperature of the descaling / flushing solution must not exceed 130
o
F (55
o
C).
2. Always keep pump upright, empty before transit, to avoid any spills.

Mixing Instructions
Recommended Mix Ratios

Mix ½ gallon of SpeedyBright
®
with 1-1/2 gallons of water.
•
SpeedyBright
®
to water, respectively.

1:3, for light cleaning.
»
1:2, for medium cleaning.
»
1:0, (full strength), for heavy cleaning.
One gallon of undiluted SpeedyBright
®
will dissolve approximately 2.5Lbs (~1kg) of
calcium carbonate.
