86 Spectra Precision FOCUS 30 User Guide

LockNGo Tracking Technology

The Spectra Precision FOCUS 30 Total Station is equipped with an image based
tracking system, which is used for robotic or conventional measurements to lock onto
and track a prism.

LockNGo tracking technology controls the instrument StepDrive motor systems and
aims the instrument correctly towards the target, see

Figure 6-9

Tip –

To assure maximum performance from the LockNGo tracking technology keep the

lens clean and dry.
